Crisping uses the broil element and microwaves to crisp and
brown foods. Always use the crisper pan. See the "Crisper Pan
and Handle" section first before using.
To Crisp:
Before Crisping, brush crisper pan with 1/2tsp (3 mL) of oil or
spray with nonstick cooking spray. Put crisper pan on turntable
and preheat by microwaving for 2 to 3 minutes. Arrange food on
crisper pan. Race pan on turntable.
1. Press CRISR
2. Press the number pads to enter a length of time to cook in
minutes and seconds. The time can be set up to 90 minutes.
3. Press ADD MINUTE START.
The upper oven display will countdown the cook time.
When the cycle ends, "End" will appear in the upper oven
display. If enabled, end-of-cycle tones will sound, then
reminder tones will sound every minute.
4. Press upper oven OFF/CANCEL or open the upper oven door
to clear the display and/or stop reminder tones.

Broiling uses the broil element to cook and brown 1 to 4 small
pieces of food at a time. Always use the broiling grid. See "Grids"
section first before using.
• Avoid opening the door often.
• For even browning, turn food over halfway through cooking.
To Broil:
Before Broiling, remove turntable support. See "Parts and
Features" for location. Replace turntable in oven, then preheat
oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Turntable will not turn during broiling.
Place all food on front half of broiling grid. Position grid with food
on it so that the food is directly under the broil element.
1. Press BROIL.
2. Press the number pads to enter a length of time to cook in
minutes and seconds.
3. Press ADD MINUTE START.

The upper oven display will countdown the cook time.
When the cook time ends, "End" will appear on the upper
oven display. If enabled, end-of-cycle tones will sound, then
