Flooring Grade
All prefinished and unfinished Indusparquet
®
flooring is supplied in clear grades, closely paralleling the guidelines
specified by the National Oak Manufacturers (NOFMA) for domestic oak products.
Color and Grain Variation
Because wood is a natural product, color and grain patterns vary substantially from piece to piece. Indusparquet’s
®
grading system allows the full range of color and grain variation within each species, unless otherwise specified. Exotic
hardwood species are known for their wide variety in color and grain variation.
In addition, BR-111
™
suggests that customers select flooring after viewing actual samples of the product. Prefinished
products, as well as finishes that are applied to unfinished flooring, can alter the look and color of each species.
Moisture Content
Indusparquet
®
flooring is precisely kiln dried, producing an accurate 6% to 8% moisture content. Prior to shipping,
individual orders are closely monitored for exact moisture content; results are included, along with handling and
installation instructions, in each order.
Milling Quality
Indusparquet
®
flooring is precision milled, using the industry’s most up-to-date manufacturing technology. Tongue and
groove, end matched, and kerfed on the back side, Indusparquet
®
flooring fits snugly, without excessive high/low
variation or play.
Milling and Wood Defects
Mis-milling, handling damage, and defective wood, while very uncommon, can occur. Standard practice within the
flooring industry allows for up to 5% waste and should be considered when placing orders.
Sizes and Lengths
Unfinished Indusparquet
®
flooring is produced in standard 3/4" thickness and stocked in variety of face sizes, ranging
from 2 1/4" to 5 1/2". Prefinished thicknesses include 3/4", 7/16", 5/16" solid and 3/8" or 5/16" Engineered with face
sizes ranging from 2 5/8" to 6 1/4". Indusparquet

3/4" Solid flooring is milled in random lengths between 11" and 88".

5/16" and 7/16" Solid flooring is milled in random lengths between 11" and 55". Casanova 3/8"
Engineered is milled in random lengths between 12" and 60". BR-111

5/16" Engineered is milled to 48" lengths, with
occasional 24" pieces.
Photosensitivity
BR-111™ Exotic Hardwood Flooring includes several photosensitive species that gradually darken with exposure to light.
Adding to the rich patina of the wood, the color of each species will stabilize several months after installation.
Important Note: All wood floors, to a certain degree, can be scratched and dented.
