Cisco CallManager Attendant Console
Cisco CallManager Attendant Console is designed to automate the user and
administrative operations of a manual attendant console. The Cisco CallManager
Attendant Console uses a graphical user interface and a Cisco IP phone to perform
attendant console functions such as call handling and line-state monitoring. The
attendant console can handle calls for an entire company or a department within
a company, or a user can manage calls for a single IP phone.
The Cisco CallManager Attendant Console is installed on a PC that has LAN
connectivity to the Cisco CallManager system. The attendant console works with
a Cisco IP phone that is registered to a Cisco CallManager system (one console
for each phone that is used as an attendant console). Multiple consoles can
connect to a single Cisco CallManager system to share the call load.
Cisco CallManager Attendant Console lets the user do the following tasks:
• Answer, place, manage, or direct calls
• Configure and use speed dial buttons which can be grouped in multiple tabs
• Look up directory numbers, manage or route calls, and view line status for
users and resources contained in the Cisco CallManager database
Cisco CallManager Attendant Console replaces Cisco WebAttendant and works
with Cisco CallManager 3.1 or later.

interface.
