Flashing pattern
Possible Cause
Check Point
Food etc. may come in contact with the ice
tray or the stored ice amount detection lever.
This  ashing shows that there is a problem.
It will  ash if you stop ice making during the
ice making process.
Door remains open for more than 1 minute. (ex:
door is not completely closed.)
It is in process of Ice Maker Cleaning.
Empty the Ice Compartment and perform
"Cleaning the Ice Making".
Consult your dealer.
Check the points described in "Ice Tray" on
P.51.
Check the points described in "Door Alarm"
on P.57.

This  ashing shows that there is a problem with the Automatic Ice Maker, the temperature control device or
the frost removal device etc.
Consult your dealer if the  ashing does not stop even after checking the point listed in the following table.
Reduce the number of times of opening and closing the door and avoid storing food additionally until the
electric supply is restored.
Unplug the power plug and maintain the inner of the refrigerator and the Automatic Ice Maker, and leave all
the door open to dry the refrigerator for 2 3 days.

Any operation to remove frost is not required because this refrigerator remove frost automatically.
Thawed water is collected in the evaporating tray and automatically evaporates.
You can adjust MIN. / MID. / MAX. more  nely when setting the
temperature in the Refrigerator Compartment and the Freezer Compartment.
1. Open the Lower Freezer Door.
2. Push the REFRIGERATOR button on the control panel on the refrigerator
door for more than 5 seconds until single long beep sounds.
3.
Push the
REFRIGERATOR
button or the
FREEZER
button to adjust the
temperature. The temperature becomes lower by 1 step every time you push
the button.(If you push the button when MAX. is selected, the setting returns
to MIN. .
4. If you want to stop the  ne adjustment, perform the operation of 1 and 2.
Two beeps sound and You can set the temperature by normal step.

When replacing the following parts, make sure to tell your dealer the type name and buy the special parts.
Replacing the water fi lter
Replace the water  lter when it becomes old.(Replace it normally once 3 4 years.)
Ordering the replacement water  lter
Tell your dealer the parts number: RJK-30100 to buy the replacement water  lter. (Ice making capacity is the same
with a water  lter removed.)

When you want to lower the
setting of the condensation
prevention heater (the
swing partition)
A lower setting of the condensation prevention heater will reduce power consumption.
The setting has two levels: 1 and 2. The level 2 achieves a higher reduction in power consumption. A lower
setting of the condensation prevention heater may cause dew condensation in the swing partition when
humidity is high. When dew is formed, cancel the setting.
The setting will be cancelled when the power plug is connected and disconnected or power failure recovery
takes place.
Setting the swing partition
1. Open the Lower Freezer Door.
2.
Press and hold the COOLING MODE button on the Control Panel with
the refrigerator doors closed for three seconds or more until one long beep
sounds. (Level 1)
3. Press and hold the
COOLING MODE
button on the Control Panel for
three seconds or more until two long beeps sound. (Level 2)
4. Close the lower Freezer Door.
