Louder sound levels
when refrigerator is
on.
Today’s refrigeration appliances
have larger storage capacity and
work to maintain more even
temperatures.
It is normal for some sound to be heard.
This is normal,the sound will level off
when selected temperature have been
reached.
Louder sound levels
when the
compressor comes
on.
Vibrating or rattling
noise.
Sound of ice
dropping.
The appliance will work harder to
reach selected temperatures
when first switched ‘ON’.
Floor is uneven.
Appliance rocks when touched.
Ensure the floor is level and solid.
Check ‘Installation’ section for Height
Adjustment information.
Items placed on top off
refrigerator are vibrating.
Remove items.
Dishes are vibrating on the
shelves in the refrigerator.
Ensure appliance is level.
Move dishes slightly and ensure nothing
touches the interior back wall.

cabinets.
Appliance needs to be relocated so that it

This is normally made when ice is made
and dropped into the ice storage bin.

too long.
Open the door less often
Weather is humid.
This is normal in humid weather.
Door slightly open.
Ensure door/s are closed properly.

Food with strong odour is stored
in the refrigerator.
Ensure stored items are covered
completely.
Some containers and wrapping
materials contain odours.
Use a different container or brand of
wrapping material.
