The automatic ice maker is designed to furnish acontinual supply of ice cubes. The
amount of ice produced depends on the temperature in the freezer section of your

is satisfactory. If the door to the refrigerator or freezer is opened frequently or
temperatures in the kitchen are abnormally high, a colder setting may be necessary.
After your model has been installedand the water supply connected to the ice maker,
it may take 8to 12 hoursbeforethe ice maker furnishes anyusable icecubes. Thefirst
one or two harvests will probably contain undersized and irregular cubes because of
air in thesupply line. Theinitial harvestmay also containimpuritiesfrom the newwater
supply piping. Therefore, el) cubes from the first two or three harvests should be
discarded.
Under certain rarecircumstances, icecubes may be discolored, usuallyappearing with
a green-bluishhue. Thecauseof thisunusualdiscolorationisapparentlya combination
of factors such as certain characteristics of local waters, household plumbing and the
accumulationofcopper saltsin an inactivewater supply linewhich feedsthe ice maker.
Continued consumptionof such discoloredicecubes may beinjuriousto health. If such
disco(orationis observed,discard the ice cubes and contactthe dealer from whom the
ice makeror refrigeratorwas purchased.

upoff-flavortaste,stick together, andgradually becomesmaller. We suggestthatthese
