Checkthe followinglist to be surea service call is realiy necessary. A quick reference
of this manual may prevent an unneeded service call.
If nothing on the oven operates:
• check for a blowncircuit fuse or a tripped maincircuit breaker.
• check if oven is properly connectedto electric outlet.
If clock, indicator words, and/or lights operate but oven does not
heat:
• the controls may havebeen set incorrectly.
• clock controls may be set for delayed start of oven.
• the Child Protection Lock may have been set.
If the oven light does not work:
• the light bulb is looseor defective.
• oven light does not workduring selfIcleaning process.
If oven will not go through self-cleaning process:
• controls may be improperlyset.
• checkthe "Clean"and "Stop"time settingsandthe currenttime ofday onthe clock.
If oven did not clean properly:
• oven may need longer cleaning time.
• excessivespills werenot removedprior to self-cleaningprocess.
If oven door will not unlock:
• oven may not havecooled to safe temperatureafter self-cleaningprocess.
• electric current coming into the oven may be off.
If foods do not broil properly:
• the control may net be set properly.
• check rack position.
• voltageinto house may be low.
If baked food is burned or too brown on top:
• food may be positionedincorrecttyin oven.
• oven not preheated properly.
If foods bake unevenly:
• the ovenmay be installedimproperly.
• check the oven rack witha level.
• stagger pans, do notallow pans to touch eachother or ovenwall.
• check instructions for suggestedplacementof pans on oven rack.
If oven baking results are less than expected:
• the pans being used may not be of the size or material recommended for best
results.
• there may notbe sufficient roomaroundsidesof the pansfor properair circulation
in the oven.
• check instructions for preheating, rack position and oven temperature.
