have been prepared
Too little water in the water tank
The float is defective or stuck
Spent coffee holder full
Drawer inserted too soon after
emptying
“Empty spent coffee holder”
indicator appears too soon
Drawer is not correctly inserted
Appliance too cold (under 10¡C)
Various causes
Actuate the steam key
Insert water tank correctly and
fill the heating system
Cool down the appliance from
steam to the espresso-/coffee tem-
perature or fill the heating system.
Turn the selector knob for steam/
hot water to the correct position
Switch off the indicator or let
KRUPS Service Unit carry out
maintenance
Add further water to the tank
Rinse out the tank and, if
necessary, remove lime-scale
Empty the spent coffee holder
Wait 10 seconds and then insert
Empty the spent coffee holder
when the appliance is switched off
Insert the drawer correctly
Allow the appliance to stand for
about an hour at room
temperature
Switch off the appliance, pull
out the mains plug and switch
on again after an hour
Let KRUPS Service Unit check
the appliance
