Problems, possible causes and remedies

The cups are too cold
Too little coffee-meal has
been used
The coffee-bean
container is empty
Unsuitable milk, either
too old, wrong fat
content or too warm
Steam nozzle is blocked
Air suction hole in the
frothing aid is blocked
Some foreign body in the
grinder
Electricity supply failure
or the mains plug not
inserted
Steam has just been
produced
Pre-warm the cups with
hot water
Use the correct quantity
of coffee-meal
Add further coffee-beans
Use different milk
Clean the steam nozzle
Clean the frothing aid
Let the KRUPS service
unit examine the
appliance
Continue using the
