7. Place food in oven when the preheat signal sounds. The
screen will also prompt you when to insert food. If a delay
start is programmed, place food in oven when setting the
mode.
NOTE: Do not use Delay Start for items that require a
preheated oven, such as cakes, cookies and breads. If food
is in the oven during preheat, it may become overcooked.
8. To change the temperature or cook time while the oven is
active, press the appropriate quickset pad, make the
adjustment, and press START.
9. Press LOWER CANCEL to turn off the oven.
Setup Menu
Your oven provides you with the ability to control several of the
default settings and access information through the on-screen
display. These include: Clock, Volume, Brightness, Language,
Temperature Units, Power Preheat, Convect Conversion, Timer
Entry Format, Sabbath Mode, Demo Mode, Service Information,
Oven Calibration and Restore Default Settings.
To Access Setup Menu:
1. Press SETTINGS.
2. From the Select Mode menu, press the arrow keys until you
see the Setup Menu choice.
3. Press the quickset pad below the desired choice.
Clock
This clock can be used in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
At any time desired, press the quickset pad below Back to return
to the Setup Menu.
1. Press SETTINGS. Clock will appear on the display. Press the
quickset pad below Clock.
2. From the Set Clock menu, use the number keypads to enter
the current time.
3. Choose AM or PM or 24 hour by pressing the quickset button
below AM/PM/24 hr.
4. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Volume
1. Press SETTINGS. Volume will appear on the display. Press
the quickset pad below Volume.
2. From the Volume menu, press the quickset pad below Button
Volume.
3. Adjust the Button Volume by pressing the left arrow key to
decrease the volume, or the right arrow key to increase the
volume. To turn off Button Volume, press the left quickset pad
until Off is reached.
4. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Volume Settings Menu.
5. From the Volume Menu, press the quickset pad below Alert
Volume.
6. Adjust the Alert Volume by pressing the left arrow key to
decrease the volume, or the right arrow key to increase the
volume. To turn off Alert Volume, press the left quickset pad
until Off is reached.
7. Press the quickset pad below Back. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Brightness
1. Press SETTINGS. Brightness will appear on the display. Press
the quickset pad below Brightness.
2. Adjust the screen brightness by pressing the left arrow key to
select dimmer and the right arrow key to select brighter.
3. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Setup Menu.
Language
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until
Language appears. Press the quickset pad below Language.
2. Press the left or right arrow keys until the desired language is
highlighted.
3. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Temperature Units
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Temp
Units appears. The category displayed is unit preference.
Select the preferred units for future use.
2. Press the left or right arrow keys until °F/lb or °C/kg is
highlighted.
3. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Power Preheat
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Pwr
Preheat appears. Press the quickset pad below Pwr Preheat.
2. Press the left or right arrow keys until On or Off is highlighted.
3. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Convect Conversion
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Convect
Conversions appears. Press the quickset pad below Convect
Conversions.
2. Press the quickset pad below “prompt wizard” to show the
help screen for convect functions, or press “do not prompt”
to automatically convert the recipe.
Timer Entry Format
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Timer
Entry Format appears. Press the quickset pad below Timer
Entry Format.
2. Press the quickset pad below “hr:min:sec” or “hr:min.”
WARNING
Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour before
or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness.
