Sabbath Mode
The Sabbath Mode sets the oven to remain in a Bake setting until
turned off. A timed Sabbath Mode can also be set to keep the
oven on for only part of the Sabbath. When the Sabbath Mode is
set, only the number and Start keys will function, no tones will
sound, and the displays will not show messages or temperature
changes.
When the oven door is opened or closed, the oven light will not
turn on or off, and the heating elements will not turn on or off
immediately.
If a power failure occurs when the Sabbath Mode is set, the
oven(s) will remain in Sabbath Mode but will no longer be actively
cooking. When power returns, the display will initially show the
start-up screen. Press the quickset pad below Ok to return to the
Sabbath Mode enable screen. Press the arrow keys to highlight
“On” and press the quickset button below Ok to return to the
Sabbath Mode setup screen or Press the arrow keys to highlight
“Off” and press the quickset button below Ok to return to the
clock display screen.
To Use Sabbath Mode:
1. From the Select mode screen, press the left or right arrow
keys until Sabbath appears. Press the quickset pad below
Sabbath.
2. From the Sabbath Mode menu, read the instructions on the
screen and press the arrow keys until On is highlighted, then
press the quickset pad below Ok to turn on Sabbath Mode.
NOTE: Sabbath Mode disables the 12-hour shutoff.
3. Select Oven Temperature. Use the numbered keypad to enter
a desired cooking temperature. The temperature must be
between 170°F (77°C) and 550°F (288°C) or the default
temperature appears on the screen.
4. Press the quickset pad below Ok, or press START to start the
Sabbath Mode with the current settings.
5. If a programmed Cook Time is desired, enter a Cook Time by
using the number keypad. The time length may not exceed
12:00:00. When the timer ends, the oven cavity will stop
heating.
6. Press the quickset pad below Ok, or press START to start the
Sabbath Mode with the current settings.
7. To set a Delayed Start, press the quickset pad below Delay.
See the “Delay Start” section for additional information.
8. Press START to begin heating the oven.
9. Press LOWER CANCEL to turn off the oven.
To Disable Sabbath Mode:
When a cook time ends, the Sabbath Mode enable screen will be
displayed. You can also return to the Sabbath Mode enable
screen at any time while using Sabbath Mode by pressing
LOWER CANCEL. Press the quickset button below OFF to
disable Sabbath Mode and return to the Clock display screen. To
program a new cycle, follow the steps in the “To Use Sabbath
Mode” section.
Temperature Change:
The oven temperature can be changed when the oven is in
Sabbath Mode. No tones will sound, and the display will not
change. While the oven is running, pressing a number keypad
and START will change the temperature after a random delay of
between 25 and 40 seconds.
Number keys 1 through 0 represent temperatures. Use the
following chart as a guide.
To Change Temperature:
1. Press the number keypad for the desired temperature from
the chart.
2. Press START.
Demo Mode
The Demo Mode is intended for sales floor demonstrations. It
should be Off for normal operation. While Demo Mode is active,
the oven will not heat.
To switch off Demo Mode:
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Demo
Mode appears. Press the quickset pad below Demo Mode.
2. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
Service Information
1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Service
Info appears. Press the quickset pad below Service Info.
2. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the
Settings Menu.
WARNING
Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour before
or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness.
