Stainless steel models exposed to chlorine gas and mois-
ture, such as areas with spas or swimming pools, may have
some discoloration of the stainless steel. Discoloration
from chlorine gas is normal. Follow exterior cleaning
instructions.
INTERIOR CLEANING — AS REQUIRED
1. Disconnect power to the ice maker.
2. Open the door and remove any ice from the storage bin.
3. Wipe down the interior and storage bin with a solution of non-
abrasive mild soap or detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean
water.
4. Sanitize the bin with a solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach in 1 gallon
of warm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
5. Check that all drain connections are in place.
6. Reconnect power to the unit.
DO NOT use solvent cleaning agents or abrasives on the
interior. These cleansers may transmit taste to the ice
cubes, or damage or discolor the interior.
DO NOT use any cleaner inside the ice maker compart-
ment other than U-Line Ice Machine Cleaner. Other cleaners
may affect ice quality or damage the unit not covered
under warranty. See AUTOMATIC CLEAN CYCLE for
more information.
