Using a volt meter, measure the voltage (110-120 volts) between Wire #23 and ground, and Wire #22 and ground. If voltage
is present, or if only one wire (#22) has voltage, the centrifugal switch in the motor is bad. The entire motor must be replaced
(see Fig. 65).
NOTE: If line voltage is not present on either of the wires, recheck door switch, power switch and thermostat operation.

NOTE: This procedure should be done only after the checks for the thermostat, connector pin and centrifugal switch have
been performed.
NOTE: Replacement solenoids come with only one plug. The other plug must be removed from the old solenoid and
reinstalled with the new part.
TOOLS REQUIRED:

WARNING: DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY AND PLACE A TAG AT THE DISCONNECT SWITCH TO
INDICATE YOU ARE WORKING ON THE CIRCUIT.
