A smoke deflector kit for your model is available from your Whirlpool parts dealer
to use when installlng this microwave oven over cooking products with grill or

Caring for your microwave oven
Cleaning the Microwave Oven
Wipe often with warm, sudsy
water and a sponge.
For stubborn soil, boil a cup
of water in the oven for 2 or 3
minutes. Steam will soften the soil.
Abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads, grffty
can damage the control panel and the lnferlor and exterior
oven surfaces. Use a sponge wlth a mlld detergent or a paper
towel wlth spray glass cleaner. Apply spray glass cleaner to
paper towel; do not spray directly on oven.
Be sure to keep the areas
clean where the door and
oven frame touch when
closed.
Use only mild, non-
abrasive soaps or detergents
applied with a sponge
when cleaning surfaces.
Rinse well.
Caring for the Filters
The grease filters should be removed and cleaned often, at least once a month. NOTE:
If your
mlcrowave hood comblnatlon Is Installed to recirculate air, the charcoal filter (Part No.
4358003) should be replaced every 6-12 months. The charcoal filter can not be cleaned.
