any kind. Check the lists below and on the next page before calling for assistance or service.

PROBLEM
Nothing works.
CAUSE
0 The power supply cord is not plugged into a live circuit with the proper volt-
age. (See the “Electrical requirements” in the “Installation Instructions”
section and “Electrical connection” in the “Getting to Know” section.)
0 A household fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped.
0 The electric company has had a power failure.
The microwave oven
will not run.
0 You are using the oven as a timer. Touch the off/cancel pad to cancel the
minute timer.
0 The door is not firmly closed and latched.
e You did not touch the start/enter pad.
0 You did not follow directions exactly.
0 An operation that you set earlier is still running. Touch the off/cancel pad to
cancel that operation.
COOKING TIMES
PROBLEM
CAUSE
Microwave cooking
times seem too long.
0 The electric supply to your home or wall outlets is low or lower than normal.
Your electric company can tell you if the line voltage is low. Your electrician
or service technician can tell you if the outlet voltage is low.
0 The cook power is not at the recommended setting. Check the “Microwave
cooking chart” section.
0 You have not allowed enough cooking time for the amount of food being
cooked. Larger amounts of food need longer cooking times.
The display shows a time
0 You have set the controls as a minute timer. Touch the off/cancel pad to
counting down but the
cancel the minute timer.
