7 In Dolby PL II mode, press 1 ( ) or 5 ( ),
select “DIM CONTROL [Dimension Control]”,
then press 2 (ENT).
8 Press 1 ( ) or 5 ( ), select “MODE ON/OFF
[Dimension Control ON/OFF]”.
9 When OFF, press 1 ( ) after pressing
2 (ENT) to switch ON.
To switch from ON to OFF, press 5 (
) after
pressing 2 (ENT).
When set to “ON”, the sound field can be
adjusted towards the front or towards the
back.
10Press 1 ( ) or 5 ( ), select “LEVEL [Level]”,
then press 2 (ENT).
11Press 1 ( ) or 5 ( ), select the level to be
adjusted, then press 6 (RTN).
The level can be adjusted between –3 to +3.
The higher the level, the more the sound field
is moved towards the front.

The sound field can be adjusted towards the front or towards the back.
If the hollow effect is too weak or too strong for recording, then an optimum balance is achieved
from all the speakers.
