Hot air
A fan on the back wall distributes the heat from the
top and bottom elements equally throughout the
oven. You can use hot air to bake sponge cakes in
tins.
3D hot air
A ventilator on the back wall distributes heat from the
upper and lower elements and the ring element evenly
in the oven.
Using 3D hot air, you can bake cakes and biscuits on
two levels. The required oven temperatures are lower
than those for top and bottom heating. Additional
baking trays may be obtained from specialist shops.
Bottom heating
Using the bottom heating element, you can bake or
brown meals from below. This is also suitable for
cooking meals in a water bath.
Hot air grilling
This type of heating involves the grill element and the
fan switching on and off alternately. During the pause
in heating, the fan circulates the heat generated by
the grill around the food. This ensures that pieces of
meat are crisped and brown on all sides.
