If adding vegetables make sure they are
completely covered by liquid.

Precook meat. Place probe 1 inch from
top surface. Stir after 3 hours, if possible.

Add 4 cups liquid. Insert probe into
meatiest area of inner thigh from below
end and parallel to leg. Turn over after
1/2 of time.

Set Auto Simmer like Auto
Roast as explained on page 10.
Display shows “COOL” until food

80°F., then switches to show
food temperature until
180°F.
Oven switches to Hold at
180°F.,
until you remove food and turn off
oven. If stirring is recommended,
you can reset oven by touching
START again. Touch CLEAR/OFF
after cooking.
