The exhaust fan in the oven
til
operate
automatidy
under
certain conditions (see Automatic
Fan Feature, page 6). While the
fan is operating, caution is
required to prevent the starting
and spreading of accidental
cooking fires while the exhaust
fan is in use. For this reason:
–Never leave surface units
unattended at high
h~t
settings.
Boilovercauses
smoking and greasy
spdlovers
that may ignite and spread
if efiaust fan is operating. To
minimize automatic fan operation,
use adequate sized cookware and
use high heat
ordy
when necessary.
—In the event of a grease fire,
smother flaming pan on surface
unit by covering pan completely
with well-fitting lid, cookie sheet
or flat tray.
–Never flame foods under
the oven with the exhaust fan
operating because it may spread
the flames.
–Keep hood and grease filters
clean, according to instructions on
page 29, to maintain good venting
and avoid grease
fires.
USE OF THE OVEN
SHELF
AC~SSORY

Remove the shelf from oven
when not
in
use.
Do
not store or cook with shelf
on floor
of
oven. Product damage
may result.
Use potholders to handle shelf
and cookware. They may be hot.
Do not use microwave browning
dish on shelf; the shelf could
overheat.
Do not
use shelf with
Automatic Cooking feature.
