CONTROL PANEL FEATURES
Your microwave oven control panel lets you select the desired cooking function quickly and easily.
All you have to do is touch the necessary Command Pad. The following is a list of all the Command
and Number Pads located on the control panel. For more information on these features, see the
"Using your microwave oven" section.

Display: The display includes a clock and
indicators that show the time of day, cooking
time settings, and cooking functions selected.
Smart Touch: This pad allows you to cook most
of your favorite foods without having to select
cooking times and power levels.
1 Ib Defrost: This pad contains Exact and Auto
defrosting methods. The Exact Defrost is an
accurate defrosting method for frozen meat,
poultry, and fish up to 6.0 lbs or 4.0 kgs.
Custom Cook: Touch this pad to select
programming food items.
Number Pads: Touch number pads to enter
cooking time, power level, quantity or weight.
Cook Time: Touch this pad to set a
cooking time.
Cook Power: Touch this pad to set a
cooking power.
START: Touch this pad to start all entries
(except for the Smart Touch Sensor, Custom
Defrost and Add 1 Minute functions which start
automatically).
9. Custom Defrost: This pad is an accurate
defrosting method for frozen meat, poultry and
fish up to 6.0 lbs or 4.0 kgs.
10. Soften/Melt: Touch this pad to soften ice
cream, cream cheese, butter or frozen juice and
melt chocolate, cheese, butter or marshmallows.
11. Add 1 Minute: Touch this pad to cook for one
minute, up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, at
100% cook power.
12. Kitchen Timer: Touch this pad to use your
microwave oven as a kitchen timer.
Clock: Touch this pad to enter the correct time
of day.
Control Setup: Touch this pad to change the
oven default settings for sound, clock, scroll
speed and lbs/kg.
Hold 3 Sec.: Touch and hold this pad for three
seconds to lock the control panel.
Clear: Touch this pad to clear the oven entries.
17. STOP: Touch this pad to stop cooking.
18. TrueCookPlus®: Touch this pad to cook food
according to a TrueCookPlus _ code.
