Role in Radio Network
This setting determines what function the access point performs in the
wireless network.
Options: Access Point root or Repeater non root
Default: Access Point root
Option Description
Access Point
root
Access pointconnects directly to themain Ethernet
LAN and accepts associations from wireless
clients.
Repeater non
root
Access point connects to a remote LAN, accepts
associations from wireless clients, and must
associate with a root access point using the
wireless interface.
