Miele 09 157 540 Refrigerator User Manual

The appliance is supplied with a stan
-
dard water filter that filters mains water
for making ice cubes.
You can replace this with an active
charcoal filter which improves the taste
and smell of the ice cubes by removing
chlorine and other substances from the
mains water.
Replacement water filters (standard
and active charcoal) are available
from Miele.
To ensure the quality of the ice
cubes remains high, it is essential to
change the water filter regularly.
Please note:
All ice cubes that are produced in
the 24 hours after you have changed
the water filter should be discarded.
If you have not used the appliance or
the ice cube maker much in the last
few weeks, or if the ice cubes smell
unpleasant, fit a new water filter.
