Notes on connecting to the
mains water supply
Connection to the mains water
supply should only be carried out by
a qualified and competent person in
strict accordance with national and
local regulations.
The water quality must conform to
the requirements for drinking water
in the country the appliance is being
installed in.
This appliance meets the
requirements of IEC 61770 and
EN 61770.
All items used for connecting the
appliance to the mains water supply
must comply with current national
and local safety regulations in the
country in which the appliance is
being installed.
The appliance is only suitable for
connection to a cold water supply.
The water pressure (flow rate) must
be between 1.72 and 8.25 bar.
The stainless steel hose is 3 m long.
This can be extended using an
extension hose which is available
from the Miele Spare Parts Dept. It
must be fitted by a qualified and
competent person.
A stopcock must be provided
between the stainless steel hose and
the household water supply to
ensure that the water supply can be
disconnected if necessary.
The stopcock should be easily
accessible after the appliance has
been built in.
Preparing for plumbing the
appliance into the mains water
supply
Plumbing connections must be
correctly in place before the
appliance is built in.
Before plumbing the appliance in,
ensure that it is disconnected from
the mains electricity supply.
Connection to the mains water supply
should incorporate a mains stopcock
with

" thread.

Connect the stainless steel hose to
the stopcock.

Ensure that it is screwed into position
correctly.
