Remember it can take up to
10 hours to produce the first ice
cubes.
. . . the ice/water dispenser is only
producing small ice cubes.

Are other appliances that are
connected to the mains water supply
being used at the same time?
Avoid using the dishwasher, washing
machine etc at the same time.

Check whether the water filter needs
to be changed.
^ Check whether there is sufficient
water pressure. The water pressure
(flow rate) must be between 1.72 and
8.25 bar.
^ Check that the correct valve was
installed; an incorrect valve may
cause a drop in water pressure.

Check that the ice cube container is
clean and wash it if necessary.

producing too few or misshapen ice
cubes or is only dispensing a very
little amount of water.

Check whether there is sufficient
water pressure. The water pressure

Check that the temperature in the
freezer is low enough.

Change the water filter.

How often do you use the ice water
dispenser?
If you do not use it very often, ice
cubes that are stored for a long
period can absorb the taste and
smell of other items.

Are you storing unwrapped food in
the freezer section?
Ice can absorb the taste and smell of
unwrapped food.
. . . you can hear noises from the
ice/water dispenser on a regular
basis.
This is not a fault.
The ice cube separating function is
active. The spindle in the ice cube
drawer moves at regular intervals to
separate the ice cubes and prevent
them from freezing together and
blocking the dispensing spout.
. . . water is pouring out of the
appliance.

Close the stopcock immediately.
^
Check whether the water pipework
inside the appliance is damaged.
Call the Service Department.

Check whether there is sufficient
water pressure.
^
Check whether the correct valve was
fitted.
