Fill the water tank to the F mark with
lukewarm water.

Add two descaling tablets to the
water.
Please observe the mixing ratio for
the descaling tablets.
It is important that you fill the water
tank to the mark. Too little water can
cause the descaling program to
stop prematurely.
^ Reinsert the water tank and close the
door.
^
Follow the instructions in the display.
When the display shows, "Fill the water
container with fresh tap water up to the
descaling mark":

Rinse the water tank carefully with
clean water. Make sure that no
descaling agent is left in the water
tank. Fill clean tap water up to the k
mark.
Also empty the waste container.
The descaling process is complete
when "Program finished" is displayed.

Touch "OK".
The descaling program is now
complete and drinks can be prepared
again.
When descaling the system, be sure
to wipe off any splatters of descaling
agent immediately! These could
damage the surfaces.
After descaling the system, carefully
clean the water tank and the drip tray to
remove all traces of descaling agent.
Descaling before being
prompted
The descaling program cannot be
canceled once it has started. The
program has to be carried through to
the end.
^ Touch "Main menu" or the "Back"
sensor.
^ Touch "Maintenance" y.
^
Touch "Descale unit".
The descaling process will start.
