When Not in Use
If you are not using the appliance for an extended length
of time, it is recommended that you switch off the electrical
supply, empty any food out, clean the inside of the appliance
and leave the door ajar. This will save energy, and also prevent
a build up of stale odours inside.
Changing the Light Bulbs
Before replacing the light bulb, switch off the
electricity supply and unplug the refrigerator.
• The electrical rating of the bulbs is 220~240V, 50Hz
– 25W.
• The lampholder is type E14. NEVER use bulbs over 25W.
Changing the Fresh Food Compartment Light
Bulbs
1. Release the two tabs at the back of the light shield and
remove the cover (Fig.5.6).
2. Turn the bulb anti-clockwise and remove, then install a
new bulb.
3. Install the light shield back in the tabs in the reverse
order and snap back into place.
Changing the Freezer Light Bulb
1. The freezer lamp is located centrally in the upper freezer
compartment.
2. Remove the upper freezer drawer (see P11).
3. Remove the screw in the light cover.
4. Lift the light cover slightly and remove it from the
appliance (Fig.5-7).
5. Rotate the bulb anti-clockwise to remove, and install a
new bulb of the same rating.
6. Refit the light cover.
7. Refit the drawer.
Air Curtain Removal and Installation (only
for servicing if needed)
1. Remove the water filter.
2. Take off the fresh food light shield and unscrew the
bulb.
3. Using a suitable screwdriver, remove the screws of the
air curtain frame.
4. Take down the fresh food air curtain by using your
hands to press down on the air curtain with a little force
(Fig.5-8).
5. Reinstall the air curtain and water filter in the reverse
order.
