GENERAL TiPS
, Placing racks in oven: Toinsert racksintothe even, held the
rack with the back rail up and toward the back. Place the
safety hooks under the front of the rail guides. Pushthe rack
into the oven, lifting the rack stops over the front of the rail
guides_Slide the rack intoposition.
, Removing racks from oven: Toremove racks or reposition
racksinthe oven,pull the racktoward thefront ofthe oven. Lift
upthe front ofthe rack overthe safety stops and pull from the
oveR,
Placeoven racks in desired positions beforeturning the oven
On.
Ovenrack supports should notbe removedfrom the oven.
,_CAUTION! Never use aluminum foil to cover the oven
racks or to line the oven. It can cause damage to the oven if
heatistrapped under thefoil
When placing food on a rack, pull the rack out to the stop
position.The racksare designedto lockand nottiltwhen pulled
forward.
SELF CLEANSNG THE RACKS
Ifthe racks are left inthe oven during Self Clean,the rackswill
lose the shiny finish. See Oven Care and Cleaning
Recommendationson Page51.

RACK POS_T_ONS
Rack positions are numbered from the bottom support guide
(#1) to the top (#6). The correct rack position for cooking a
fooditem depends on the recipeandthe cooking mode.
Refer to the cooking recommendations in this manual for
suggested rack positions.
MULTIPLE RACK COOKING AND
BAKING
Now youcancook acomplete mealusingmultiple rackswithout
flavor exchange from different foods.
Checkthat cooking or bakingtemperatures are thesame when
cooking different foods at thesame time.
Tworacks can be usedat one time during BAKEmode,such as
when bakinga batch ofcookies.
Three racks or morecan be usedwith convection modes.
