8. On the Device - General tab, click the Diagnostics button. The
General-Diagnostics window will be displayed.
9. Check the Printer check box and click Done.
10.Scan the blank sheet of paper that is in the input tray.
11. Check the quality of the test pattern. If the test pattern is
inconsistent, you may need to clean the print head or change the ink
cartridge.
