Protect Against Freezing
Filter assembly
To cleanthe coarse filter and the fine filter, use a cleaning brush. Then, reassemblethefilter
parts as shown in the figures left and reinsert theentire assembly in the dishwasher, positioning
in its seat and pressing downward.
Thedishwasher must never be used without thefilters.Improper replacement of the filter may
reducethe performance levelof the appliance and damage dishes and utensils.
Forbestperformanceand results, the filter assembly must be cleaned. The filter efficiently removes food
particles from the wash water, allowing it to be recycled during the cycle. Forbest performance and results,
the filter must becleaned regularly. For this reason, it is a good idea to removethe larger food particles
trapped inthe filter after each wash cycleby rinsing thesemicircularfilter andcup under running water.
To remove the filter device, pullthe cup handle in theupward direction. The entire filterassembly should be
cleanedonce a week.
Thedishwasher mustnever beused withoutthe filters.
Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level ofthe appliance and
damage dishes and utensils.
1.Cut off the electrical power to the dishwasher.
2.Turn off thewater supply anddisconnect thewater inletpipe from the water valve.
3.Drain the water from the inlet pipe and water valve. (Use a pan to catch the water)
4.Reconnect the water inletpipe to the water valve.
5.Remove the filter at the bottom of the tuband use a spongetosoak up waterinthesump.

The control panel can be cleaned by using a lightly dampened cloth.
After cleaning,makesure to dryitthoroughly.
For the exterior, use a good appliance polish wax.
Never use sharp objects, scouringpadsor harshcleanerson anypart of the dishwasher.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
Itisnecessary to clean thespray arms regularly for hard water chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings.
To remove the upper spray arms, screw off the nut clockwiseto take out
the washer on top of the spray arm and remove the arm.
Remove the upper spray arms
To remove the lower spray arm, pull out .the spray arm upward
Remove the lower spray arms
Wash the arms
Wash the arms in soapy and warm water and use a soft brushto clean
the jets. Replace them afterrinsing them thoroughly.
