Service, if necessary, should be performed by a Black & Decker Company-Owned or Authorized
Household Appliance Service Center. The Service Center nearest you can be found in the
yellow pages of your phone book under “Appliances — Small-Repairing.” If mailing or shipping
your unit, pack it carefully in a sturdy carton with enough packing material to prevent damage.
You may use original packaging as long as you’ve include packing material suitable for shipping.
Include a note describing the problem to our Service Center and be sure to give your return
address. We also suggest that you insure the package for your protection.
SERVICE OR REPAIR
New England Boiled Dinner
3 pound (1362g) fully-cooked ham 1 bay leaf
4 medium red potatoes, quartered 10-12 whole peppercorns
4 medium carrots, cut in

1. Combine all ingredients except cabbage in Stoneware Bowl. Stir slightly.
2. Position Stoneware Bowl in Slow Cooker Base. Cover and turn to Hi or Auto setting.
3. Cook on Hi for 4

hours, or Auto for 7 hours.
4. One-half hour before cooking is complete, add cabbage wedges to Stoneware Bowl.
Makes: 6-8 servings (about 4 to 5 oz./114g-142g servings).
Chunky Spaghetti Sauce

2 onions, coarsely chopped 1 tablespoon sugar
1 green pepper, coarsely chopped 1 teaspoon basil
3 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon oregano
1 can (28-ounce/840ml) diced tomatoes 1 teaspoon salt
1. Combine all ingredients in Stoneware Bowl. Stir to mix thoroughly.
2. Position Stoneware Bowl in Slow Cooker. Cover and turn to Hi or Auto setting.
3. Cook for 4 hours on Hi, or for 7 to 8 hours on Auto.

Mulled Orange Cider
8 cups apple cider

cup packed brown sugar
3 cups orange juice 1 navel orange, cut in half
2 sticks cinnamon and then sliced

1. Combine all ingredients in Stoneware Bowl. Stir to mix thoroughly.
2. Position Stoneware Bowl in Slow Cooker Base. Cover and turn to Hi.
3. Cook for 3 hours, or until desired temperature is reached.
