Care and Cleaning for Your Blender
1) Always dismantle the blender from the stand
mixer before cleaning.
2) Empty the glass container of its contents before
unscrewing the base.
3) Blade Unit: Remove and wash the sealing ring by
hand with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse
and dry thoroughly. Brush the blades clean under
running water. Be careful when handling the
blades, they are very sharp. Do not leave blade
unit to soak in water.
1) To prevent leaks wet the sealing ring before fitting
it to the blade unit.
2) Screw the glass container on tight by turning it by
its handle.
3) When making mayonnaise put all of the ingredi-
ents, except the oil, into the blender. Then with
the machine running, remove the filler cap and
add oil slowly and evenly.
4) Thick mixtures (Ex. pate, dips) use low to me-
dium speeds. Scrape down ingredients (when
the machine is “off”) inside the bowl when neces-
sary. If it is still difficult to process, add liquid.
Suggestions For Using Your Blender
Blending Thick Mixtures
(Ex. spreads, pates, dips, etc.)
1) Place the ingredients in the glass container until
half full.
2) Blend on a low-medium speed. Stop the
machine to scrape the mixture back onto the
blades as necessary. If the mixture is very difficult
to process, add a little more liquid.
Note: Be sure blades come to a complete stop
before scraping ingredients.
