Assembling Your
Splash Guard
1) Turn the head-lift lever
on your stand mixer
counterclockwise and
the mixer head will pop
up. Raise the mixer
head until it locks into
place.
2) Fit the splash guard onto the attachment outlet of
your stand mixer by firmly pushing up. The
hinged section should be positioned as shown.

3) Insert the required attachment tool and follow
direction 2 under the “Operating Your Stand
Mixer” section of your stand mixer instruction
manual.
4) During mixing, ingredients can be added directly
to the bowl by simply lifting the hinged section of
the splash guard. Figure 1.
5) You do not need to remove the splash guard to
change attachment tools.

4) Other Parts: Wash by hand with warm water and
mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Alterna-
tively, the glass container can be placed in the top
rack of your dishwasher.
