Carrying out the pyrolytic cleaning
1 Warning: The oven becomes extremely hot during this procedure. Be sure
to keep young children well away.
1 Important: All oven furniture must be removed from the oven before carry-
ing out the pyrolytic cleaning function.
3 If you are using any other removable oven accessories, these must be re-
moved before the pyrolytic cleaning process.
Carrying out the pyrolytic cleaning function
1.Remove larger patches of soiling by hand first.
2.Select the “Pyrolytic cleaning” oven function.
– “PYROLYSE NORMAL” will be displayed in the oven function display,
– “2:45” will appear in the cook time display
– The switch off time will be displayed in the end time display.
– The “Length” arrow will flash for approx. 5 seconds.
Following this, the pyrolytic cleaning function begins.
3 – The oven lighting is not in operation.
– The door becomes locked when a certain pre-programmed temperature is
reached.
– The key symbol is active until the door becomes unlocked again.
Changing the length of the pyrolytic cleaning function
1.Proceed as described in “Carrying out the pyrolytic cleaning function”.
2.While “Length” is flashing with / select the desired length of the pyro-
lytic cleaning function:
– “PYROLYSE ECO/2:15” or
– “PYROLYSE INTENSIVE/3:15”
The “Length” arrow will flash for approx. 5 seconds.
Following this, the pyrolytic cleaning function begins.
3 If “Length” is no longer flashing, press the “Clock functions” selector button
again and then reset the function again.
Changing the pyrolytic cleaning switch-off time
The pyrolytic cleaning switch-off time can be extended using the “End”
clock function.
When to use each pyrolytic cleaning setting:
– PYROLYSE ECO for cleaning a lightly soiled oven
– PYROLYSE NORMAL for cleaning a moderately soiled oven
– PYROLYSE INTENSIVE for cleaning a heavily soiled oven
