Cleaning and caring for your refrigerator
Exterior
Stainless exterior doors (Iridium or EZKleen finishes)
It is important when cleaning the exterior door surface of your
refrigerator, to only use liquid dishwashing detergent dissolved
in warm water and a soft cloth.
Dry the door with a clean, lint free cloth.
The use of any abrasive or stainless steel cleaners and solvents
will damage the door surface.
Water dispenser pad and interface
(for Ice & Water models only)
We have incorporated a Dispenser and Key Lock function in your refrigerator to make cleaning
easier (refer to page 19). This will help you to avoid accidental water dispensing while you clean.
Clean the pad and interface panel with a soft damp cloth.
Condenser coils
The area behind the toe grille must be kept clean so
air flow through the system is not obstructed.
Remove the toe grille by pushing down on the
center firmly, and then pulling the grille off.
Use a vacuum cleaner with nozzle attachment to
clean this area well.
Once finished replace the toe grille:
1
Align the toe grille mounting clips with the lower
cabinet slots.
2
Push the toe grille firmly until it snaps into place.
Drip Tray (for Ice & Water models only)
To clean, take the tray out of the dispenser panel
and pull the two halves of the tray apart.
Clean in warm water with a mild detergent. Dry the
tray and clip back together.
Reinsert the tray back into the dispenser panel.
Other exterior surfaces
Clean all other exterior surfaces with a mix of warm water and detergent and a soft cloth.
If necessary, clean the magnetic door gasket and the center door gaskets with an old
toothbrush, warm water and liquid dishwashing detergent.
