4. Use blade tensioning knob on top of saw
to tension blade until there is approximately
1
⁄4" deflection when moderate pressure is
pushed against middle of blade, as shown in
Figure 5.
Note: Rotate tensioning knob clockwise
(looking down from above) to increase blade
tension and counterclockwise to decrease
blade tension.
5. Close and secure wheel cover.
6. Press "O" (off) button on on/off switch to pre-
vent unexpected startup when connecting to
power.
7. Insert power cord plug into a matching recep-
tacle that meets 110V Circuit Requirements
on Page 9.
8. Turn machine ON and verify motor operation.
The motor should run smoothly and without
unusual problems or noises.
9. Turn the machine OFF.
Congratulations! The Test Run is complete.
To prevent blade falling off wheels and
causing injury or property damage, DO NOT
rotate blade tensioning knob when saw is
operating. Always disconnect saw from
power before adjusting blade tension.
