Level the range. (See Installation
Instructions.)
Use cookware with flat bottoms.
Choose cookware the same size or
slightly larger than the element.
Adjust the oven temperature control.
(See “Adjusting the oven
temperature” section.)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Range is not level
Cookware does not have flat
bottom.
Cookware is not the correct
size for the surface cooking
area.
Oven temperature is too low or
too high.
Food not left in oven long enough.
Oven temperature not high
enough.
Oven not preheated before
baking.
Bakeware is not correct size.
Opening oven door while food is
baking or roasting.
Oven not preheated to selected
temperature.
Bakeware is not correct size
Oven rack is set too low.
Oven temperature set too high.

Increase baking or roasting time.

gested in recipe. “Oven peeking”
can make cooking times longer.
