Is the temperature of
vegetable compartment
set to “Low”?
Is one of these error codes indicated when conduct-
ing self-check of operation P.C. board?
Refrigerator compartment thermistor: e13
Slide chilled compartment thermistor: e14
Vegetable compartment thermistor: e16
Outside air thermistor: e18
Is the temperature of
vegetable compartment
set to “High”?
Are the temperatures of
refrigerator compart-
ment/ freezer compart-
ment set to “Low”?
0"
or
∞"
When outside temperature is 32: or less and compartment temperature is
8: or less, set the temperature of each compartment as follows.
Refrigerator compartment: High
Slide chilled compartment: Chilled
Versa compartment: Soft freezing
Freezer compartment: High
Is there voltage AC230V between connector CN2A 5 (Gray) and CN3A 7
(Yellow green) on control board?
Measure the voltage for over 10 seconds.
When an analog tester detects AC 230V, consider the control board normal.
(230V is outputted on every 10 seconds.)
Replace the control board.

2
Check refrigerator / slide chilled compartment is excessively cooled (poorly cooled).
1
Check the thermistor, vegetable compartment
heater, and control board.
No error code is
indicated.
Does vegetable compart-
ment have a resistance of
approx. 2.9k" between wire-
connected terminal 5(CN2A)
and 7 (CN3A) on control
board (parallel resistance
between vegetable compart-
ment heater 1 and 2)?
Yes
e13, e14 or e16 is indicated.
Replace the defective
thermistor.
Check the contact of con-
nector connecting each
thermistor and connector
CN7S on control board. Fix
the incomplete contact.
No
Yes
Is there a resistance of
approx. 5.9k" between
5 and 6, terminals of 6-
pin connector which is
located at the right top
of fan grille?
0"
or
∞"
Replace the vegetable
compartment heater 1.
Note: Vegetable compartment
heater 1 is combined with
fan grille.
It may have contact failure of
connector. Recheck the contact
after the 6-pin or 2-pin connector
is connected.
Is there a resis-
tance of approx.
5.9k" between 1
and 2, terminals
of 2-pin connector
which is located
at the left-back
bottom of veg-
etable compart-
