Configuring PAD/ATPAD Ports 63
ATPAD Ports
Parameters
These tables describe the parameters used to configure the ATPAD port.
Note
Unless otherwise indicated, a Node Boot must be performed to have changes
take affect.
Port Type
Range: NULL, PAD, X25, SDLC, FRI, ATPAD, PPP
Default: PAD
Description: Specifies the port type.
NULL: NULL type port
PAD: PAD type port
X25: X25 type port
SDLC: SDLC hpad/tpad
FRI: Frame Relay Interface port
ATPAD: ATPAD type port
PPP: PPP type port
Connection Type
Range: SIMP, DTR
Default: SIMP
Description: Specifies the control signal handshaking required for a connection
to be made to this port.
SIMP: Simple, no control signals required
DTR: Dedicated, require the data terminal ready signal (DTR)
Clock Speed
Range: 50, 75, 100, 110, 134, 150, 200, 300, 600, 1200, 1800, 2400, 4800,
7200, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 75/1200
Default: 9600
Description: Speed of the port in bits per second, when using internal clocking.
Note
The maximum port speed is dependent on the type of hardware
installed.
