Lift-Off Oven Door
The oven door is removable, but it is

need help removing

by the handle.

can
cause the

damage to

To remove the door, open it a few
inches
to
the special stop ~sition
that

will hold the door open.
Grasp
firmly
on
each
side and lift the door straight
up
and

the hinges.
NOTE:

careful
not to
place hands between the hinge
and

the

door frame
as
the hinge
cuuld
snap
back
and
pinch

While working in the oven
area,
cover the hinges
with
towels
or empty
paper
towel
rolls
to
prevem
pinched
tingers
and chipping the porcelain
enamel
on the
frame.
To replace the door,
make sure the hinges
arc
in the
special stop position. Position the slots in the
bottom
of
the door squarely
(]ver
the hinges. Then lower the
d(x)r
slowly
and
evenly over both hinges at the
same
time. If hinges
snap
back
against the oven
frame,
pull
them back out.
TO CLEAN THE DOOR:
Inside of the door:

Because the
area
inside the
gasket
is cleaned during
the self
clean
cycle, you do not need to
cletin
this by
hand. Any soap left
on
the liner causes additional
stains
when the oven is heated.

The area outside the
gasket
can
be cleaned with a
soap-filled
scouring
pad.

not rub
or
clean the door
gasket-the
fiberglass
material
