Positioning the Range
1. Whentherangeisfullyassembled,recheckallelectricalconnectionsespeciallybetweentheexhausthoodand
thebackoftherange.Aswell,checkthatallnutsandboltshavebeentightened.
2. Ensureteonglidersandooringareclean,(asdescribedonpage5under"Gliders").
3. Caution:Onooringwithveryroughsurfacesordeep,largegroovestheappliancemayhavetobeliftedand
slowly slid into position.
4. Putbothhandsonthetrimandcarefullypushtherangeintoplace,makesureoorisclearofalldebris.Don't
forget to plug in the main power cord and the exhaust hood power cable and test the operation of the
appliance, before the range is in it's nal position. See closet installation instructions.
5. Toleveltherange,simplyadjustthelevellingscrewswithteonpadslocatedatthebottomofeachleg(the
onesyouassembledonpage5under"Gliders").Usinga5/16(8mm)openendwrenchturntheadjustingscrew
clockwisetoraiseupthecorner,andcounter-clockwisetolowerthecorner.(Don'tforgettheteonglidershould
extendbeyondthebottomofthelegbyapproximately1/8"-1/4")Ensuretheunitisperfectlylevel,orutensilsmay
falloffduringcooking.
6. Note: Onsoftkitchenooring,theweightofthestovemaycauseslightdepressionsintheooring.Whenthe
rangeisinpositionandlevelled,youmaywanttoplacecoastersundertheteonglidersofeachleg,toprotect
theoor.Removethecoasterswhenmovingtherangeforcleaningorservicing.

Installation Clearances
Iftherangemuststandbesidearefrigerator,itisimportant
forproperaircirculation,thattherebeatleastveinches
(125mm)ofspacebetweenthetwoappliances.
Donotinstallrangecloserthan1/2"(13mm)fromadjacent
surfaces.
Toeliminatetheriskofburnsorrebyreachingoverheated
surfaceunits,installationofclosetstoragespaceabovethe
surfaceunitsshouldbeavoided.Ifthereisexistingcloset
storagespacehaveatleast301/4"(768mm)ofclearance.

For best cooking results, your range should be level.
Thiscanbecheckedwithacarpenter’slevelontopofthe
cooking surfaceand acrossthe ovenrack. Iflevelling is
required,adjustthelevellingscrewsunderoneormoreof
thelegs(see"PositioningtheRange"step5).
Caution: Ensure the unit is per-
fectlylevel,orutensilsmayfall
offsurfaceduringcooking.
