Cook 1 and Cook 2 Program
One of the major conventional cooking
techniques suggests using a high heat
setting to bring liquids to a boil or
begin a cooking operation then reduce
to a lower setting to continue cooking
at a gentle simmer. This same tech-
nique applies in microwave cooking
as well. You can set the oven to cook
soups, stews, pot roasts, sauces and
many main dishes or vegetables at full
power then automatically reduce to a
variable power setting to gently sim-
mer food to desired doneness. Just use
the cook 1 - cook 2 program.
