For the e-mail settings and for each row of the e-mail notification settings, click Edit
to make the elds available for editing (see gure 6-7). The button changes to Save.
After editing the settings associated with the Edit/Save button, click Save.

Setting up e-mail alerts
Set the ISM to send e-mail alerts when settings are changed as follows:
1. On the Email Alerts screen, click Edit located to the right of the Mail IP
Address and Domain Name fields. The button changes to Save.
2. If your domain user name has a password assigned, enter it.
3. Click Save.
To set up e-mail addresses for notification, do the following for each recipient of
e-mail alerts:
1. Click Edit. The Edit button changes to Save.
2. Enter the e-mail address of the recipient, and the le name on the host PC
(*.eml extension) that contains the message.
3. Click Save to save the changes. The Save button changes back to Edit.
Setting up SMTP authorization
To set the ISM 824 to require SMTP authorization before accepting any e-mail, do
the following:
1. Click Edit. The button changes to Save.
2. Check the SMTP Authorization Required check box, located below the
Domain Name eld. This enables the User Name and Password elds below
the check box.
