Connecting/Pairing GDL 39 via Bluetooth:
1)
From the Main Menu, touch Tools > Setup > Bluetooth.
2)
Ensure the Bluetooth on the GDL 39 is in Pairing Mode. Press and hold the
power button on the GDL 39 to enter pairing mode (the blue LED will flash
on the GDL 39 when in pairing mode).
3)
Touch Bluetooth On/Off to turn on the Bluetooth.
4)
Under the GDL Device heading, touch Devices.
5)
Touch Add Device to view available Bluetooth devices.
6)
Touch the GDL Device from the list of available Bluetooth device(s) to pair
and connect. Once paired to reconnect, under GDL Device touch Devices
> GDL39 #XXXXXXXXX.
7)
Touch Drop to disconnect.
USING AN EXTERNAL GPS ANTENNA (OPTIONAL)
The optional GA27C or GA25 external antenna can be used. Connect the antenna
to the connector located on the left side of the unit.
