Select View > Show All Links.
An animated indicator appears around each object that has a link. Depending on how you
define the links, each indicator surrounds either the entire object or an icon in the object’s lower-
left corner. The indicators disappear automatically after several seconds.
Adjusting the volume
If you’re presenting a video or audio file and want to adjust volume, you can do so pressing the
Volume Control button, and then adjusting your operating system’s volume controls.

Enabling two people to use an
interactivewhiteboard
If you have a SMARTBoard® D600 or 800 series interactive whiteboard, two people can create and
manipulate objects in SMARTNotebook software at the same time. How the two people do this
depends on whether you have a SMARTBoard D600 series interactive whiteboard or a
SMARTBoard 800 series interactive whiteboard.
Allowing two people to use an interactive whiteboard is useful in scenarios such as the following:
l Two students work on an assignment on the interactive whiteboard at the same time
l A teacher and student work on an assignment on the interactive whiteboard at the same time
l A teacher or student poses questions or problems on the interactive whiteboard, and another
student responds to these questions or problems
