Detergent type
For optimum results you can
programme your dishwasher via the
Detergent type menu for the type of
detergent you are using.
The options available are: normal
dishwasher detergent, 2 in 1 tabs or
Combination tabs.
The programme sequence and duration
will be adjusted for the type of
detergent selected. Depending on the
programme, the duration can be
considerably longer.
Normal
When using Normal detergent, you
must add salt and rinse aid (see "Filling
the salt reservoir" and "Adding rinse
aid"). The rinse aid refill reminder is
active with this setting.
2in1
Select the
2in1function if you are
using 2 in 1 tabs (detergent containing
rinse aid). The programme sequence
will be adjusted, and rinse aid will not
be dispensed in the programme. The
"Rinse aid low" message is also
deactivated.
When using 2 in 1 tabs you must still
keep the salt reservoir replenished. See
"Filling the salt reservoir".
Combination tabs
Select the
Combination tabs function if
you are using Combi tabs (detergent
containing rinse aid and salt
substitutes, as well as other
components where applicable) e.g. 3 in
1 or 4 in 1 tabs. The programme
sequence will be adjusted, and rinse
aid will not be dispensed in the
programme. The "Rinse aid low"
message is also deactivated.
When using Combi tabs, you must still
keep the salt reservoir replenished. See
"Filling the salt reservoir".
Salt consumption in the water softener
is reduced to between
1
/
3
and
1
/
4
of the
normal amount.
Do not select the
Combination tabs
function if:
– using 2 in 1 tabs (detergent with
rinse aid)
– your water hardness level is above
3.8 mmol/l or 21°d.
Follow the detergent manufacturer's
instructions.
The cleaning and drying
performance of these types of
detergent can vary enormously.
The appliance is set at the factory for
using normal dishwasher detergent.
