Delay Start with EcoStart
There are three ways of delaying the
star
t of a program. You can set the start
time or the finish time of a program.
You also have the option of taking ad‐
vantage of time variable economy rates
of electricity using the FlexiTimer func‐
tion.
When using the Delay Start function,
mak
e sure that the detergent com‐
partment is dry before adding deter‐
gent. Wipe dry with a cloth if neces‐
sary. If the compartment is wet,
powder detergent can become lum‐
py and stick to the dispenser, with
the result that it is not fully dis‐
pensed.
Do not use liquid detergent when se‐
lecting Delay Start, as it can run into
the dishwasher before it is required.

o prevent children coming into
contact with dishwasher detergent:
Add the detergent im
mediately be‐
fore starting the program, i.e., before
activating delay start with OK. Then
lock the door with the safety lock.

urn the dishwasher on using the
sensor button.
Selec
t the program you want from
the main menu.
Select the Delay Start
option from the
program menu for the selected pro‐
gram.
You then have a choice of Start at, Finish
at, and FlexiTimer.
Select the function you want.
Now enter the required time.
If, while you are setting the time, you do
not pr
ess any sensor buttons for sever‐
al seconds, the display will revert to the
previous menu. You will then have to
enter your settings again.
If you keep the + or - sensor button
pressed, the value shown will automati‐
cally increase or decrease.
If the time of day display has been
turned off (see "Settings menu -

ime") the display will go out after a
period of 10 minutes.
To switch the display back on for a
few minut
es, press the sensor but‐
ton.
