~
The second electrical connection
socket on the back of the CVA 5060
coffee machine may only be used for
connecting a Miele EGW 4000-14, EGW
4000-29 or EGW 5000-14 plate warmer.
Otherwise the machine will be
damaged.
~
If the coffee machine is installed
behind a furniture door, it must not be
used with the door closed. Do not close
the furniture door while the appliance is
in use.
~
The coffee machine must not be
used in a non-stationary location (e.g.
on a ship).
~
Only use the coffee machine in
rooms where the ambient temperature
is between +15°C and 60°C.
~
The machine must only be
connected to a cold water supply.

would cause damage.
~
The stopcock must be accessible
for servicing work after the machine has
been built-in.
~
The protective sleeve of the water
inlet hose must not be damaged or
become kinked. This will cause it to
leak.
~
The integrated Waterproof System
offers protection from water damage,
provided the following conditions are
met:
The machine is correctly installed
and plumbed in.
The machine is properly maintained
and parts are replaced where it can
be seen that this is necessary.
The stopcock is turned off when the
machine is not used for a longer
period of time (e.g. during holidays).
~
Ensure that there is sufficient
ventilation around the coffee machine.
The ventilation gaps in the furniture
housing unit and the gap between the
top of the housing unit and the ceiling
must be at least 200 cm². Otherwise
condensation can build up and
damage the machine or the housing
unit.
~
Installation and repairs may only be
carried out by a suitably qualified and
competent person in strict accordance
with national and local safety
regulations. Repairs and other work by
unqualified persons could be
dangerous.

undertaken by a service technician
authorised by Miele. Otherwise the
guarantee is invalidated.

guarantee the safety of the appliance
when original Miele replacement parts
are used. Faulty components must only
be replaced by genuine Miele original
spare parts.
