Original pick-up operation error SC701 D
Even though the pick-up motor is rotating
clock-wise, the pick-up roller home position
sensor cannot detect the position of the pick-
up roller.

harness loose, disconnected,

• Pick-up motor harness loose,
disconnected, defective

• ARDF control board

ARDF bottom plate lift motor SC705 D
• The bottom plate HP sensor
did not detect the home
position of the bottom plate
after the bottom plate lift
motor switches ON and
lowers the bottom plate.
• The bottom plate position
sensor does not detect the
position of the plate after the
lift motor switches ON and
raises the bottom plate.
• ARDF feed motor disconnected,
defective
• Bottom plate HP sensor disconnected,
defective
• ARDF main board defective
Finisher lower transport motor error SC720 D
No encoder pulse signal is
detected for the transport motor
within the prescribed time.
The 1st failure issues an original
jam message, and the 2nd
failure issues this SC code.
• Lower transport motor disconnected,

Finisher jogger motor error SC721 B
The jogger fences move out of
the home position but the HP
sensor output does not change
within the specified number of
pulses. The 1st failure issues an
original jam message, and the
2nd failure issues this SC code.

• Jogger motor overloaded due to
obstruction
