Using the CF Card for backup and restore
The Clarion AutoPC System will
accept CF Cards from most
manufacturers. Warning: the CF
Card can be inserted one way only.
Be sure to insert the CF Card with
the manufacturer’s label and arrow
FACING RIGHT of the unit as
shown below.
1. Back up important data regularly.
2. Back up the data before having maintenance or upgrades done on the
system, including changing a Backup Battery.
3. Back up the data before changing the Coin Cell Battery.
4. Be sure that your customized files such as contacts and radio presets
are the way you want them to be before doing a back up.
5. Be sure to protect the CF Card insertion slot with the cover when the
slot is not being used.
