The grill is equipped with non-tip
safety catches that enable the grill
to slide out of the stove about three
quarters of the way without tipping
over.
This feature easily facilitates removing
food from inside the oven. In addition,
it gives you the possibility of placing
it on any of the 4 levels available in
the oven.
Using a Rotisserie is a more gentle form of grilling and roasting. Food cooked in
this manner is slowly prepared using indirect heat which evenly browns all sides
as the food is rotated. The result is an increase in moisture and tenderness due
to the preservation of juices.
To start the Rotisserie feature, proceed as follows:
1. Place the oven tray on the 1st rack.
2. Insert the special Rotisserie support on the 2nd rack and position the spit by
inserting it through the special hole for the rotisserie at the back of the oven.
3. Start the rotisserie by using the cooking program knob to select either the
Broil
setting or the Convection Broil setting.
The grill can be used to hold any kind of oven safe cookware with food to be
roasted or toasted. You can also make your roast by placing the meat directly
onto the grill, in which case we recommend you place a tray underneath the
grill to collect any juices that may drip from the meat, keeping your oven clean.
The grill should be slid into place on an even angle with the catches facing
down, as indicated above.
